Job Description
Waste Connections is looking for a Customer Service Representative / Transfer Station Attendant for our location in Sweet Home, OR. You will be in the office for part of the time, handling inbound calls from our customers and covering the front desk handling walk in customers, and will be helping out in the scale house as well, taking payments from the public coming to the transfer station.
The schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday, 30 hours per week. On top of competitive pay we offer family benefits, 401k, and vacation.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) fields calls from Customers and works to resolve problems they raise concerning service or billing. A successful CSR must understand the Waste Connections business, so they can resolve various types of customer issues. Customer Service Representatives must show empathy or sensitivity to the customer regarding the issue at hand.
Requirements:
+ 1 year of experience handling heavy call volumes a plus.
+ Strong computer skills.
+ Ability to type at least 40 wpm and 10 key by touch.
+ Cash handling experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
